Economic Citizenship

Until now, education about finance has focused on personal decision-making. It tends to have limited social perspectives, restricting people's opportunities to develop a shared vision of the economic future.

But financial decisions are also critically important to issues affecting our world. If we are to enjoy our rights and fulfil our responsibilities in Britain today, it is important that we understand how we each engage with society through our financial decision-making.

Money Money Money

MoneyMoneyMoney is a basic guide to personal finance, equipping young people to make informed economic decisions.

Paying For It

Paying For It is a schools programme designed to support and enrich citizenship teaching around economics and finance. A number of schools are twinned with local Norwich Union offices. In these schools volunteers use specially written resources with small groups of young people on different economic citizenship topics such as health, money, environment and public spending. We also have a dedicated website at www.payingforit.org.uk.
