Funding

Grants

Charitable Trusts and Foundations support our work through grants towards core costs and specific projects.

The Law Society Charity is our major core funder, offering regular and long-standing support towards the essential overheads that underpin all our activity. Bridge House Estates Trust Fund and Carnegie UK Trust are funding the London pilot of Youth Act, a project which supports groups of young people who want to achieve change in their school, youth club or community.

Corporate Sponsorship and Support

We have a range of corporate partners and sponsors. Here are three examples.

We have worked with Linklaters to develop a twinning scheme which links solicitors with schools in Tower Hamlets to support citizenship. Linklaters also supports our essential core costs. Deutsche Bank has funded the development of Money Money Money, a set of brightly illustrated leaflets and supporting web pages, providing young people with essential information about the basics of personal finance.

Norwich Union is sponsoring the Paying For It, an educational innovation to support the teaching of economic aspects of the Citizenship curriculum.
