Giving
As a small charity with national reach we rely on support from hundreds of people to realise our goals. As well as financial donations, we also benefit from volunteers and partnerships.
We asked Ben Lawrence, a fund manager at Lloyds TSB, why he decided to run the British 10k this year in support of the Citizenship Foundation.
'The Citizenship Foundation gives young people the freedom and opportunity to make their own decisions and express themselves in a variety of ways. I have only been involved with the charity on a fundraising basis for a short period but have already seen the enthusiasm their work generates amongst the people they work with. It is generally believed and accepted that education forms the backbone of an enriched life but having feelings of self-confidence and a voice which is heard, at a young age, is just as important.'
If you would like to make a donation to our work or help us by carrying out a fundraising event, please contact fundraising support.

The support of people like you enables us to sustain and develop our innovative and essential work in citizenship education.
You can help us to equip all members of society, but particularly the young and disadvantaged, with the information, skills and understanding to play a fuller role in the community.
If you are considering making a donation to the Citizenship Foundation and would like to discuss this with us, please contact Essi Lindstedt or call us on 020 7566 4141. We would be delighted to hear from you.
