National Youth Parliament Competition 2008/09
The National Youth Parliament Competition helps bring to life the processes of parliament, government and politics by offering young people the opportunity to set up and video their own parliamentary debate. The competition is open to 11-18 year olds. The NYPC is an accessible project which offers teachers additional support to make teaching about democratic engagement and politics an interesting, confidence-building experience.
The competition is unfortunately not running at present. Please keep checking the website for further updates.
The National Youth Parliament Competition is sponsored by the Ministry of Justice and the Jack Petchey Foundation.
