Could you be our next Chair of Trustees?

After 13 years of astute leadership, Michael Maclay has announced he is to retire as Chair of the Citizenship Foundation. He leaves behind big shoes for his successor to fill. Could that successor be you?

The Chair of Trustees is a voluntary post. Its key objectives are: 

  • to lead the Board in fulfilment of its responsibilities to drive the charity's strategy and delivery of its charitable objectives;
  • to ensure sound governance of the organisation;
  • to represent the Citizenship Foundation to its key audiences and partners;
  • to oversee the work of the executive, particularly with respect to the execution of the strategy, long-term sustainability and sound financial management.
