Act Global
Act Global engages young people with global citizenship and supports them in taking action on poverty-related issues.

What is Act Global?
Act Global aims to support young people's learning about global issues, support schools in their delivery of citizenship, geography and the global dimension and meet criteria set out by OFSTED for community cohesion and Every Child Matters.
Teaching resources are available on the Act Global website. These cover a range of issues such as global poverty, violent conflict and migration. They are designed to be used in class and will enhance the student learning experience.
The project is funded by the Department for International Development and is being delivered jointly by Relief International UK and the Citizenship Foundation.
Where is it happening?
The Act Global networks are open to teachers from around the world, with free resources and support for school linking.
For participants in Greater London we provide support in delivering the programme. We offer CPD (continuing professional development) for teachers, and for students we provide a residential weekend and Celebration Event.
