Description

The UK government's 'Back on Track' white paper is looking at reforming Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) and other alternative provision.

Our response looks specifically at the minimum core curriculum entitlement that young people in PRUs should have access to. We recommend that this provision should be a reduced national curriculum to ensure continuity across education, especially given that the ultimate aim for young people in alternative provision is to reintegrate them into the mainstream.
